King Saladeen is more than an artist, he is a philanthropist and as more and more successful years go by for him, so do charitable ones. He understands that many aren’t fortunate and that opportunities can be few and far between. For this reason, King Saladeen strives to give back to those who truly need it by getting involved, showing love, and donating through his Foundation Create Motivate Inspire.

Over the past couple of years, King Saladeen has managed to give back to his community on several occasions. Whether it be through book-bags stuffed with school supplies or a neighborhood basketball tournament; annually the contemporary artist finds time to give back to the kids within his community.
(Not only does he celebrate his artistic success) in his old neighborhood through acts of philanthropy he gives back to families in need for Thanksgiving. For two years straight, King Saladeen and PCNY have made their way to a handful of cities on the east coast. The first year they distributed 200 turkeys and by 2018 they were able to hand deliver turkeys to 500 families in need of a Thanksgiving dinner.

Pushing his charitable initiatives even further, King Saladeen is an avid supporter of cancer research efforts. Having lost his grandmother Lois Clayburne and his best friend John “JP” Thompson to the life-taking disease the contemporary artist decided to use his talents for good.

Thus far he’s donated a generous amount of artsy proceeds to the Philly Fights Cancer Foundation through an artwork signed by John Legend and Whoopi Goldberg, his artistic influence in a Neiman Marcus runway show, and his “The Fight to Find a Cure”  print which he released at his solo exhibition at The Compound. With proceeds going to Abramson Cancer center to battle this horrible disease.
